2015 Volvo XC70

The 2015 Volvo XC70 is an all-weather version of the now-discontinued Volvo V70 midsize wagon that boasts all-wheel drive as well as increased ground clearance and SUV-like styling cues. 2015 Volvo XC70 Engine



The 2015 Volvo XC70 engine options last year both carry over; Models have a 3.2, 3.2 liter six-cylinder 240 horsepower which makes 236 pounds-feet of torque, while the T6 models get a more powerful 300-hp, 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six that makes 325 pounds-feet of torque. Both come with a six-speed automatic transmission. Drive-E T5 models are front-wheel drive only, while 3.2 and T6 models are now only four wheels.



2015 Volvo XC70 Safety



Standard safety features include six airbags, antilock brakes, electronic stability control, and Volvo City Safety system. City Safety uses forward-facing sensors to detect obstacles in the path of the vehicle and notify the driver of their presence and can even bring the car to a stop at speeds up to 31 miles per hour to avoid a collision. There are also plenty of optional safety technology, including high, pedestrian and cyclist beams automatic detection, lane departure warnings, and adaptive cruise control for 2015 Volvo XC70.
