The 2014 Volkswagen Eos is a four passenger convertible with a hardtop roof retractable. There are three trim levels: Komfort, Sport and Executive. The Komfort out with 17-inch alloy wheels, fog-lights, heated mirrors and washer Nozzles spirit, a sunroof, a deflector, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, leatherette (vinyl) upholstery, eight-way power-adjustable driver seat, heated front seats, a coordinating leather-wrapped and shifter, and Bluetooth phone connectivity and audio. Also standard is eight speaker sound with screen interface, voice controlled navigation, a Change six-CD, satellite radio, iPod interface, an auxiliary audio jack and Car-Net service Telematics VW’s.

The 2014 Volkswagen Eos Sport model adds 18-inch wheels, sport suspension organized, adaptive bi-Xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights, a rear spoiler, keyless entry / ignition, brushed aluminum trim on the pedals and the steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters .

The 2014 Volkswagen Eos Executive model has all the equipment Sport, save for the spoiler and paddle shifters. It then adds different 18-inch wheels, automatic wipers, parking sensors, power folding mirrors, an eight-way power-adjustable front passenger seat (with power lumbar), leather upholstery, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, i upgraded navigation system with a larger screen display, camera rearview, HD radio and a premium Dynaudio 10-speaker sound system.

2014 Volkswagen Eos Interior

With a five-piece hardtop retractable, the 2014 Volkswagen Eos is a convertible if you want to be and Coupe hardtop if you do not like. To full sun, the top yielding 25 seconds. Open or enclosed, the cabin features high-quality materials and the general good fit and finish. Front passengers will find the 2014 Volkswagen Eos spacious enough, but the adults in the back seat will not want to stay there a long time, from the hardtop forces the backrest to a more upright angle. There is a lot of storage space. When folded into the trunk, the top retractable leaves 6.6 feet Roadster-like cubic feet of cargo space. With the top up, the trunk volume flows 10.5 cubes.

The 2014 Volkswagen Eos interface screen in Komfort and Sport works pretty well in terms of audio (iPod interface is particularly well designed), but the navigation function was interrupted by a small screen size. The Executive model features a screen larger Usefully, but I find this higher-end interface slower to process the orders that you’re changing the radio station or to enter a destination.

A rearview camera and parking sensors are standard on the Executive trim level. Standard on all 2014 Volkswagen Eos models, new Car-Net system Telematics VW include automatic crash notification, roadside, remote access car, stolen vehicle location and geo-fencing. A smartphone app Car-Net lets owners control many of these tasks on the go.

In Insurance Institute for Highway Safety crash tests, the 2014 Volkswagen Eos received top of “Good” in both the moderate overlap frontal-offset and side-impact tests. It also received the Good for its seat/head block design in the Institute’s rear-impact testing.
