Materials and the build quality are decent for the part, highlighted by soft-touch material on the dash and door Sills and tight panel gaps. Music lovers, took however note: The 2015 Subaru Impreza’s audio to deliver the disappointing sound quality, even modest standards in this class.

In testing performance, a CVT-equipped Impreza sedan to 60 mph from zero in 9.6 seconds, while the hatchback CVT makes the same run in 9.7 seconds. These times are a little compact or hatchback years, although that’s a bit understandable given the extra weight and drag of the hardware awd.

2014 Subaru Impreza Wrx Interior

Interior quality is not a strong suit the 2014 Subaru Impreza Wrx. The cabin design is simple and straightforward, but there is an overload of cheap, hard plastic trim of the vehicle in this price range. We’ve been impressed with the quality of the organization test cars we’ve tested. The obsolete screen interface for the navigation system frustrating to use, and if equipped, the audio system hard work. Sound quality is subpar, making aftermarket audio upgrades a virtual necessity.

However, personality inside the 2014 Subaru Impreza Wrx cabin for passengers and cargo. Gives stubborn and legroom provide enough for taller adults, and the front seats include aggressive bolstering to keep the passengers securely anchored to their seats when cornering. When it comes to hauling, the hatch can accommodate up to 19 cubic feet of cargo and the seats are in place. The 2014 Subaru Impreza Wrx, folding rear seats expands the space and a generous 44 cubes. The 2014 Subaru Impreza Wrx STI gets a more elite version of this engine is tuned for extra performance rated at 305 hp and 290 lb-ft of torque. A manual six-speed standard. EPA-estimated fuel economy of 19 mpg combined (17 city / 23 highway). These numbers are not great, but they’re comparable to rival the main STI, the Lancer Evolution.

If we instrument-tested 2014 Subaru Impreza Wrx STI, went from zero to 60 mph in a blistering 4.5 seconds, but two 2011 sedans STI we tested had a second full slower. Although Subaru has confirmed that any changes to the drivetrain is carried STI, there is a good case to buy financial cost base Wrx if you can do without STI’s the difference fancy lightweight wheels.
