Suzuki Sx4

The Suzuki sx4 is a compact car developed by Japanese automaker Suzuki and Italian automaker Fiat. In some European markets the Suzuki Sx4 is sold as Fiat Carens, and other Asian markets as the Maruti Suzuki sx4. Suzuki Sx4 was designed by Italdesign Giugiaro studio Giorgetto Giugiaro and has been produced since 2006.



Although originally intended solely for Europe, Suzuki Sx4 is sold in most markets Suzuki countries. Available in hatchback and, for some markets, the sedan body. Especially in the hatchback version, Suzuki Sx44 occupies a niche market Mini SUV crossovers. Depending on the market, available with petrol engines in the range of 1.5-2.0 liter, and Fiat’s 1.3-2.0 liter range diesel. The Suzuki Sx4 hatchback is available with four-wheel drive. Suzuki Sx4 First Generation (2006-present)



Sx4 continues the tradition of Suzuki’s small SUV, like SJ, Suzuki Jimny, and Recuerdos. It was introduced in Japan on December 1, 2005, and the world at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. Designed by Italdesign studio Giorgetto Giugiaro’s, Suzuki Sx4 (i abbreviation “Sports X-over 4 all seasons”), replaces Aerio (Liana in some markets). The “SX / 4″ to call the previously used (1981-83) by American Motors (AMC) for a sporty liftback model of all-wheel drive AMC Eagle of its passenger cars.



Although initially intended to only the European market, Suzuki Sx4 is sold in most markets Suzuki countries. It falls within the Japanese regulations regarding car external dimensions of vehicle and engine displacement classified as a “compact”. It is manufactured at the Magyar Suzuki plant in Esztergom, Hungary, Manesar, India and Sagara, Japan. An expected 60,000 units were produced 2/3 to be sold by Suzuki and 1/3 by Fiat, badged as the Carens. The Suzuki Sx4 Crossover has been sold in Indonesia since 2007 Earlier models were directly from Japan (Completely Built-up / CBU), though versions of the locally-assembled through a year to meet higher than expected market demand. Suzuki Sx4 Second Generation (2013-present)

Suzuki Sx4 Motorsport



At the 2007 Geneva Motor Show, Suzuki announced it would enter the Fia World Championship Rally, and the industry supported the Suzuki World Rally Team in the World Rally Car in 2007, using the WRC Suzuki Sx4 and awd and J20 engine that produces 320 hp (239 kW; 324 PS) and 590 N·m (440 lb · ft) of torque. But because of the WRC calendar officially changing Suzuki debuted in 2008, using the 2007 season as some of the development time for Suzuki Sx4. The Suzuki Sx4 completed two of the 2007 WRC events on the basis of the test: the Rallye de France in October 2007 (finishing 31st overall) and Rally GB in November 2007 (general completing 27). Suzuki SX4 Crossover 2014



A car race called ‘Suzuki sx4 Hill Climb Special’ was used at the 2011 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. It was specially adapted the Suzuki Sx4 with twin turbocharged 3.1 L V6 engine that produces 910 hp (679 kW; 923 PS) and 890 N·m (660 lb·ft) of torque. Driver Nobuhiro Tajima set the track record time of 9: 51.278.

Suzuki SX4 S-Cross

The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross is a compact crossover car -type brand Suzuki produced since 2013. The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross made its debut in March 2013, while living in Geneva. Compared to its predecessor, the new model is much larger. Increased body length of 17 cm and a wheelbase about 10cm. With this increase has space for passengers in the back seat and trunk space.
