2015 Lincoln MKS Interior

There is good and pleasing ambience inside the 2015 Lincoln MKS’s, thanks to a wealth of materials and often simple design and restrained, that it takes pains not many sites eyes with lines, shapes, buttons and switches. The dashboard in the front passenger space is an organized group of soft, padded material intersected with a single piece of wood-and-metal trim, present a calm, minimalist tone for the entire cabin.

All Minimalism does not contribute to improved driver experience, however. The primary reason for the center of the pile dashboard’s so pleasingly organized due to the MyLincoln Touch screen interface and touch-sensitive, “field effect” slider controls that displace regular handles and switches for the entertainment and climate control systems. The new-age controls to mitigate the button count, but as in other Ford and Lincoln vehicles that use variations of this setup, screen-based control can be slow to respond, graphics can be difficult to see while on the move and all the frustrating and finally enjoy reading. The field-effect touch controls certainly look star-ship grade, but they’re hard to use with precision and do little to improve the overall performance.

Otherwise, the 2015 Lincoln MKScabin is the abundance of its headroom and legroom. Yet even with generous passenger volume Sedan of approximately 106 cubic, front seat occupants can get a sense of overwhelming pinched, as the thickness of the pillars of the roof, the width of the center console and glass high level conspiracy to make the space seem smaller than it is. No issues such as the rear seat, where the high-mounted provided a natural seating position, but still leaves plenty of headroom. The 2015 Lincoln MKS large doors make up to make it easier to get out of the rear seat. The trunk of a 2015 Lincoln MKS is great, cargo space to its maximum of 19.2 cubic feet to swallow multiple full-size golf bags or four clubs.

The 2015 Lincoln MKS Transfer and 2015 Lincoln MKS AWD models use the same engine and transmission combo: a V6 3.7-liter matched to a six automatic transmission speed. This engine generates 305 hp and 280 pound-feet of torque. EPA-estimated fuel economy of 22 mpg combined (19 city / 28 highway). The MKS awd drops to 21 mpg combined (18 city / 26 highway).

The 2015 Lincoln MKS EcoBoost and all-wheel drive but powered by a different, more powerful V6: a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter that develops 365 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque.
